Atto introduces the FastFrame Air, a 100 Gigabit Ethernet adapter engineered for workstations with limited or no cooling. This card features a comprehensive heat management system with a heat sink, shroud, and blower, which prevents overheating and subsequent packet loss or performance degradation. A thermal comparison demonstrates a 32°C heat reduction versus a competitor’s card. The FastFrame Air has two 100GbE ports that can be bonded for a 200 Gigabit connection, providing high-speed connectivity for demanding storage access.

A new Thunderbolt 5 to 100 Gigabit Ethernet chassis is also presented, enabling 100GbE connectivity for computers lacking PCIe slots, such as the Mac Studio and Mac Mini. This device connects via a single Thunderbolt 5 cable, delivering speeds up to the 80 Gbps bandwidth limit of the Thunderbolt 5 interface, offering the fastest possible Ethernet connection for these platforms. The system is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, as shown in the demonstration with a Mac mini.

To complement its hardware, Atto offers the Atto 360 Ethernet networking suite. This software tool optimizes Thunderbolt and PCIe performance, provides diagnostics, and sends email notifications. A key feature is its one-click optimization presets for storage systems from major manufacturers, including Avid, Dell, Elements, Facilis, Quantum, and SNS. The suite also includes an automatic update feature to ensure users have the latest drivers and application software.

Atto’s portfolio also includes a range of other host adapters, such as 64Gb and 32Gb Fibre Channel HBAs and a quad-port 25Gb Ethernet NIC.
